Artist and music producer from Minas Gerais - Brazil, ‘dereco' launches the third work of his solo project. The conceptual psychoda’s tape presents a lo-fi/indie aesthetic and a relaxing atmosphere, in contrast to the disturbing lyrics.

The concept was born from recurrent thoughts during a time when prospects for a better future are lacking, in addition to the introspection caused by social distancing and the observation of mosquitoes in the shower stall. All of this is approached in an unusual way: dereco sings the lyrics from the point of view of mosquitoes in order to humanize them.

Hence the title "psychoda's tape". 'Psychoda' is the scientific genus to which these living beings belong, known for their fragility and low life expectancy. Despite the fatalism, the final message is clear in the last two songs: if fate is death, it is necessary to know how to enjoy what is left of life with those who are in the same page, with no panic
